With multiple parking and trail access points in town, biking is one of the most popular ways to explore Dennis. The Cape Cod Rail Trail — a former railroad line turned 35-mile scenic bike path — winds through marshes, forests, and even ocean views. For avid cyclists, the trail stretches from Bourne to Provincetown — a 64-mile ride worth every mile.

Connected to Nantucket Sound by the Bass River, the pond offers endless recreation — including swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and water skiing. It’s also a favorite spot for boating, fishing, and exploring the surrounding natural beauty.
